Founder’s Note

I founded 8Eyez in 2016 with one clear intention, to create a real platform for emerging talent.

I saw too many gifted creatives with the ability, the drive and the vision, but without the access or visibility to move forward. 8Eyez was built to bridge that gap, turning raw potential into meaningful visibility and tangible opportunity.

At 8Eyez, we believe everything is a talent. Whether it is music, storytelling, visual art, performance, design or something that does not fit neatly into a category, it deserves to be seen, heard and taken seriously. Our aim is to showcase it all.

What started as live music showcases has grown into a wider creative ecosystem spanning original content, curated events and collaborative spaces. The mission has never changed. 8Eyez is the platform for emerging talent, a space where voices are amplified, confidence is built and culture is pushed forward on our own terms.

Our Impact Since 2016

Since launching in 2016, 8Eyez has supported and showcased over 200 emerging creatives across music, media and culture, building platforms designed to transform raw potential into meaningful visibility.

Through curated live events, digital content and community led initiatives, we have engaged audiences of more than 5,000 attendees in live settings alone, creating rooms where talent is taken seriously and opportunity feels tangible.

Notable musicians who appeared on the 8Eyez platform during the early stages of their careers include Knucks, Abra Cadabra, Ambush, Kida Kudz and Shae Universe, among many others who have gone on to achieve national recognition, chart success and major industry collaborations.

We are proud to have offered visibility at pivotal moments before wider recognition followed.
